Are tasting fees included in tour price?
The tour price does not include the tasting fees or any wine and food purchases you may make during your tour. This is because many of the wineries will waive those tasting fees with a qualifying wine purchase or joining their wine club and committing to allocations throughout the year.
If I buy wine, how can I get it home?
Willamette Valley Wineries Association has created one of the best resources we can think of in regard to this question here. Know before you go and bring home your amazing wine finds to your cellar at home.
Do you always go to the same wineries?
At Pour & Explore, we like to keep it fresh. We are truly looking to create a curated and customized experience. We like to nurture relationships we have with the hospitality rockstars, winemakers, growers and winery owners and we like to get to know our guests to facilitate a more personalized itinerary.
How many wineries will we visit on our tour?
Well, that depends. Sometimes 3 and sometimes 4. We will work on that answer together. If you would like a more relaxed pace I would suggest 3 wineries. Things have changed in the industry and due to many places requiring reservations and limiting their tasting appointments per day, I would say this is the most common option.
